A Spice a Day in May

It’s no secret that spices are good for you. Each one has medicinal properties that’ll cure what ails you (check out these 7 Super Spices).

So, how’s this for a fundraiser? Spice Sanctuary owner, Trusha Patel, wanted to create a fundraiser that made participation simple and easy, so she ground up A Spice a Day in May. You pay $10, eat a spice a day (your choice!), keep track and…that’s all!

Trusha is spicing things up even more by adding an extra 15 per cent to your $10 entrance fee donation. All proceeds go to one of two charities (you choose which one): Child Haven International, a Canadian based charity providing homes for orphans and impoverished children in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bangladesh, or Dream a Dream, an Indian based charity, whose mission is to empower over 3000 children from poor socioeconomic backgrounds with critical life skills through sustainable engagement in sports, creative arts, IT skills, mentoring and adventure camps.

To participate, go to A Spice a Day in May, where you can pay your $10 entrance fee. Trusha will send you a calendar to keep track of your spices! Spice up your life and you could win a prize from Fairmont Hotels, Spice Sanctuary, Rocky Mountain Soap Co., Embody Pilates and Le Chocolatier.

Now to choose…cinnamon or cayenne.
