This is a simple go-to breakfast for quick nutrition! I always have a freezer full of frozen berries and bananas and raw nuts so that this smoothie is readily available. If you don’t have a Vitamix blender (high performance), make sure you blend a little bit longer to ensure that the nuts and dates are pureed.
-a small handful of organic raw cashews
-1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
-1/2 frozen banana
-2 soft dates, pitted
-3/4 cup your choice of either coconut water, coconut milk, almond milk (either raw homemade or packaged) or rice milk.
Combine all ingredients in a Vitamix or regular blender. Blend well, helping the mixture along if needed with a spatula. Enjoy!
