Born in Calgary, but raised in Ottawa, it wasnt long before Meghan rediscovered her Western roots and was drawn back to the province of Alberta. Based in Banff since 2008, she is also an outdoor, travel and adventure writer and loves to cover stories about inspiring adventurers, epic trips, and issues that affect our planet. In Fall 2011, she travelled to Nepal to research the impacts of mountaineering on local communities. She loves cooking, photography and yoga and going anywhere her hiking boots and skis can take her.
