Are You Avi Aware?

Heading outside the ski boundary is no big deal, right?

It’s common for powder-loving skiers and riders with snowflakes in their eyes to take risks beyond their knowledge when riding out of bounds at the hill. Slackcountry is perceived by many to be less dangerous than backcountry, but whether you are ducking under the fence for a few lines or touring in the backcountry, travel in mountainous terrain comes with risk.
