Over the past century, more than 300 climbers have attempted to Summit K2, the most dangerous and admired mountain. In 2008, 18 climbers reached the summit of K2, but only seven people made it out alive. Sunday, October 27th brings the newly released book of Tim Cope, On the Trail of Genghis Khan: An Epic Journey Through the Land of the Nomads Purchase . Tim Cope journeys 10,000 kilometres across the Eurasian steppe, retracing the trail of legendary warrior and nomad Genghis Khan. Cope will take you on a journey to distant parts of the world rarely seen and a celebration of the nomadic way of life. (Sunday October 27th, 7:30 p.m.)
