The first Wednesday of every month, the Banff Ideas Bank meets for a Conversation Cafe to discuss topics and create ideas. These cafes are open to anyone who wants to attend.
The first half of the Cafe focuses on the specific topic of the month with a series of questions designed to deepen our understanding of the sub-themes, leading to possible follow-up ideas and local actions.
The second half is a wide-open process encouraging participants to identify any great ideas that are currently happening in the community, province or planet. Time is also set aside for individuals to request creative assistance with personal or work challenges, closing with a What if? section recording fresh ideas or possibilities that would help the community in the future.
