Join in celebrating the grand opening of our new permanent exhibition, Gateway to the Rockies, featuring the stories of Rocky Mountain legends. Take in local musical performances while enjoying Rocky Mountain inspired delectables. Meet local history makers, including Stoney Elder Sykes Powderface, war bride Dorothy Carleton, outfitter Hugh Simon and artist-in-residence Dwayne Harty, who will all share their stories and experiences.
The reception is tonight from 7-9 and $25 per person, so if that doesnt agree with your wallet, the exhibit will be around for years to come so make sure you get a chance to visit this interesting new addition to the Whyte.
