We got some news about this from the always-informative newsletter from the Alpine Club of Canada. Seasonal closures in Jasper National Park are proposed. Parks Canada is proposing that up to 18% of Jasper National Park be closed to skiers and other human traffic from November 1 to February 28 each year in order to protect caribou.
