In late-May, the metamorphosis has finished and the new butterflies cruise the sky. While searching online for fun facts about butterflies, two things can be learned. One – it appears that by law, websites devoted to butterflies must utilize fonts like Comic Sans. And two – while cute, “butterflies are cool” is not a ‘fun fact.’ But, fun facts can be found. Did you know that silvery blue butterfly caterpillars (found in Canada) have a honey gland, which secretes a sweet substance that attracts ants to feed on it?
